Mango Smoothie

A healthy mango smoothie is exactly what I want when it's hot or when I need a quick meal or snack. You can make this smoothie in just 5 minutes!

There's nothing better than relaxing with a mango smoothie on a hot day. Plus, there's something about mango that makes me feel like I'm in a tropical paradise. Why not use the heat to dream a little?

HOW TO MAKE A MANGO SMOOTHIE?

If you want to make your own frozen fruit, cut mangoes ahead of time and store them in the freezer. If you don't have time to make your own, you can buy frozen mango at any grocery store. To make this creamy drink, mix its ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Feel free to relax and unwind once this refreshing mango smoothie has been served.

The secret ingredient in this healthy mango smoothie is mango nectar. You can find it in a box in the juice section of the store or in the refrigerated section in a cardboard box. It has a delicious flavour that makes it the perfect ingredient for your smoothie.

Some other juices to use if mango nectar is not available are

  • Apple Juice
  • Orange juice
  • Pineapple juice

While this smoothie is healthy enough on its own, there are other ways to increase the health factor. One way is to use 100% juice with no added sugar. Another way is to make sure your mango chunks do not contain added sugar.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF MANGOES?

The mango is a fairly healthy fruit. Research shows that the antioxidant compounds found in mango help protect against a long list of cancers. Other than that, it helps with eye health, intestinal health, lowers cholesterol and more. It's like a fruit that everyone should have on hand!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GREEK YOGURT AND REGULAR YOGURT?

There is not as big a difference as it seems. However, Greek yogurt is stretched more times than regular yogurt, which eliminates more liquid. This makes it thicker, but it also allows you to contain more protein than regular yogurt.

This mango smoothie will make you feel like you're on a tropical vacation. It's the best way to cool off and get nutrients on a hot day!
